See u in a week lol

. Me with a 5 pound apple pie lol Since I'm not going to write a weekly next week (I may send some pictures ) I'm just going to thank you all now for being on this adventure with me ! I know I have one more week, one more week of diligence, one more week of obedience , one more week of talking with everyone , one more week of representing Jesus Christ AS a full time missionary. Of course I will still strive to be all that, but I'm glad for this time to grow.  18 months ago,  I entered the MTC, I had my cute companions , Sister Vest and Sister Rivas. I love those sisters with my whole heart. Had a bumpin mtc district, shout out to Sister King, Sister Whitesell, Elder Moon, Elder Pitcher, Elder Yates and Elder Pate. Had fun teachers, Brother White, Sister Martinez, Sister Hansen , Sister Greenall (I think that was how you spell it ) and random others. Sister Anderson's Endowed, Austin's going on a mission

Sister Anderson and Sister Read! What a week , I hit my 18 month mark, how did I make it this far you ask ? It was all the Lord.  It's been an amazing 18 months ,  can't believe I only have a couple weeks left.  I'm really over the "so when do you go home ?"  This kid in the ward who just moved in even asked me :/// But what else ??? L. aka my best friend My friend Elder Horne video-chatted into a lesson with our friend, Austin and shared some sick testimony.  Austin is so cool  he's probably one of my besties tbh.  He called us on Saturday and we met him at the temple. He told us he decided he needed to go on a mission !! WHAT A KID! He's made a 180 since we started seeing him 4 months ago What a kid!  Sister Anderson received her endowments ! It was so so special to be able to go with her that day. Lyndsee from the YSA was their for her endowments as well.  So there were people from Rialto 1st, Crafton Hills YSA, AN

"Hi Sister Wingate , how's my plan ?"

Okay , I'm 100% done with Elder Famui. We called them to stop by someone we are working with but the first thing he asks is how my plan is going and how it was giving my testimony at zone conference. Stinking turd  Me lol  Halloween was so fun. I wore fake eyelashes, and we passed out candy to little kids as service on Wednesday in downtown Redlands. Saw so many cute kiddos.  We helped out at barrage mansion again and met Mr. Rochford aka a multimillionaire aka pretty famous in Redlands because we did service at His mother-in-law's 90th birthday. We had stake conference , all the missionaries sang the E.F.Y. medley As Sisters in Zion / Armies of Helaman .   Idk how I keep ending up in singing positions because home sister can't sing.  We met with Ab this week, she took herself off date, aka I'm so sad Fr took himself of date so sad,  Ka  is still so cool and President Dixon is going to come to a lesson with us this week and I am so s

The Dixon's took us out of the Mission !!

Me and a pumpkin  So wow , it was a lot of lasts this week.Had my last zone conference , It was interesting , Elder Schetselaar almost passed out at the pulpit. I gave my testimony at zone conference because I am going home,  I held myself together,  accidentally put my hand in Elder Schetselaars sweat at the pulpit too. Then we closed zone conference with "I'll go where you want me to go" and I straight lost it, I just sobbed, I couldn't even get words out. I looked at President and he just gave me a smile and a wink. How dare he send me away :(  Then we got flu shots !! FREE flu shots, I love free things.  Then we had MLC, my last MOW. Last time seeing some of my friends until I go home #wrecked  It was cool because my entire mission , if someone has shared a scripture around me , I mark it , and we spent the first like 10 minutes of MLC sharing different scripture verses from the Book of Mormon !  We went in a corn maze/ pumpkin patch wi

"Wanna have a movie night ?" "Sure"

Hey hey hey , Another week , another dollar  Me and Dad (Evan) with the matching brown bags. He will be missed:( Jk I don't get paid  What even happened this week ? I saw Walter ! I love Walter I also got to see Conner ! (If you remember him, I taught him IN Colton 1st who got baptized in January) Both were very excited to see me,  I was very excited to see them, both I had to remind I couldn't hug them:( We have been hanging with out girl Gianna a lot, she got baptized in April  and is super cute, she got us cute matching necklaces.  Love her. She has 3 roommates who are super cute,    They asked if we could have a movie night with them, of course we said yes. We watched the restoration movie, the hour long one. We wore pants, it was the BEST! We go on the University of Redland's campus a lot, and I LOVE it. ALSO last Monday,  we went to Palm springs again with our homie Rachel , I love her so much .   We also had a lesson with Cody

"Sister Wingate, you're almost home " :///

Last transfer-6 more weeks to home!!!! Okay okay ,  it's transfer week, I'm about to have the most baller last transfer or my life because I'm still with Sister Harris (Love of my life ) and I'm staying in the YSA  (Also love of my life )  I'm so excited. Okay, can we talk about 3 days in a row somebody brought up how I was going home soon ? Friday : Guenter : "hey! You're almost done !" Me : *wrecked * Saturday : Elder Rodriguez : "Sister Wingate ! You're almost done aren't you ? How long do you have left ?" Me : *hangs up * Sunday : Elder Famui : "Sister Wingate ! You only have a transfer left !" Me : *hangs up* It's fine. I'm fine.  But we did have some cool miracles this week.  We made pumpkin cookies with our friend Lyndsee to drop off to the sororities/ frat houses around the University of Redlands. We went to one home and they told us we were welcome back anytime!

tru HEYYYY!!!!!!! WHAT A GOOD WEEK! General Conference was so good, I am sure some of you saw the videos Sister Harris and I posted, We got the times wrong, so what? Everyone had to make sure they told us lololololol :-) But who is excited about 2 hour church? I am excited for the Come Follow Me home study. I love the focus they had on making a home a place of reverence and a place of worship.  What else did I love from conference? I loved what Dieter F Uchtdorf said, a disciple starts with 3 words  1. Believe Jesus :,) 2. Love 3. Do I just want that to be for everyone to read.  Okay, I love you all, have a great week!!!<3 Sister Wingate COURTNEY P IS #ENGAGED
