The zone hike |
So it's the time again, transfers !
I
know you were all waiting to see what will happen to this baller
companionship of Sister Read and Wingate (someone this week pointed out
that our names sound like a law firm )
Well here's the update
Drum roll again
I'm
leaving Rialto 1st! Which I was sad for like 3 minutes but them I
realized I'm whitewashing , again. Meaning, 2 new sisters into a brand
new area. I'm going to be with Sister G..
Guess where ?
P.,
Guess what that is ?
A TONGAN WARE
I'M NOW A LANGUAGE SISTER MISSIONARY

C at general conference 💕💕 |
Well there's that.
if she would marry him in the temple, she said she would think about it. I was weak.
But nothing is more amazing them reactivating a less active and getting his wife ready for baptism !
also hike when I didn't wanna go so they pulled / pushed :/ |
Also
remember the hike I went on last Monday ? My body was sore until like
Friday. And I was so mad, but then felt better because everyone else in
the zone were sore as well.
Also the hike, Hermana Cowley giving me a back massage bc diva |
And we had general conference! General Conference is when the general authorities of the church talk to us every 6 months.
It was so so good !
It
was really cool to get so much inspiration. I may try and share
something in the next few emails, but I liked in Joni K. Koch's talk, he
said when we come together we need to leave behind our differences. We
need to know how do we act around church members and not around church
members? Does it reflect well of who we are? We can't judge others for
not "being a finished product ". We need to be one with church leaders
and alone to be one with Christ.
Have a great week
Tongan life, bigger is def better 10/09

Me as heckie |
Its
weird to think when this transfer is done, I will have been out 6
months, literally disgusting. the time is flying and I still haven't
really learned to take care of myself #aintnowifey
Sister
G. is really precious, I feel bad because she is a quiet soul, and I
am well... not super quiet. But she is a fab missionary.
This
is actually her first transfer out of training, so check yo Sister
being a senior companion, aka, I am basically just the driver with like 6
week more experience, so basically nothing.
I
also love being in a Tongan ward, everyone is so loving. Sacrament was
all in Tongan so that is cool. I am excited to learn more of the
language
I can ask how people are in Tongan, and answer if someone asks me how I am, but that is all.
here is the Tongan I know:
Malo lei lei= hello
fe fe hake: how are?
sai pe: good
Also, in the ward, there is no piano player. All the hymns are sung accapella. So nice, its really beautiful.
Also the members have told us that palingi (not sure of the spelling but means white people) don't know how to eat.
We
went to a baptism on Saturday and they told us they are providing a
"light light light lunch" then they pull out this buffet and everyone is
straight bashing. I thought I was going to explode, but then they tell
us "eeeaaattt" and you don't have to tell me twice. I rolled right out.
Tongans eat a lot a lot, I am full constantly, and I dont think I will have to buy groceries again #blessed
President told us to eat lots of vegetables when we are not with them... nice try President. I don't eat vegetables.
What else is happening? OH So
we are actually covering 2 wards, a Tongan and an English ward, so life
will forever be busy, but I am stoked, and very grateful President
Dixon is trusting me and Sister G.
I think thats basically the only updates I have so far.
So, have a fab week!
