Long week, but good week!

Heres the update on the longest week of my life:

Sister Nez
We did exchanges on Tuesday with the Smiley Park sisters, so so fun. Sister Nez came to to my area and we partied.
Remember that Moana box I bought last week and got a stupid coconut? Well we used our lunch time and we BOTH Bought one.... :/ but it was really cool,we saw lots of miracles that day. The elders sent us over an address for us to go visit, we met a lady named Patty, she was so so cute, and she actually lives with a member who we were able to get her records moved into our ward so she can't be forgotten about!!
On Wednesday, we had zone conference, and it was so good. Every time I see President Dixon I go up to him and say "President" and shake his hand,
Well, he beat me to that , and came out to me and said "Sister Wingate" and shook my hand sternly and walked away. love love love him.
Then on Friday we did exchanges with the Hermanas, and Hermana Johnson came here to be with me. I love love love her. It was rough, literally all of our appointments canceled and NO one answered the doors and it was really hot and we walked a whole lot because short on miles... We had MCM but the elders didn't show up (and might I add, they didn't say they would be late either ) so our Ward Mission Leader just told us to have a great day :///
Really rough day......
We saw Destiny and Corey though! Love them. They fed us dinner and I just feel like they are fam.

Mariela wouldn't let us come over all week, hope they are doing alright :// I miss them...

Something I thought a lot about this week is how crazy it is that I am a missionary... Everyday is so hard. You wake up at 6:30 (sometimes earlier depending on your companion) you work out, you get ready, you study, by 10 am you're out the door until about 9 or 9:30 at night, every single day. During that time, you will talk to whoever will talk to you. You will compliment people. Serve people. Share about Christ with people. You will get rejected, you will get made fun of , you will get judged, you will get yelled at, you will get things throw at you. But every single day is so rewarding because you get to talk about Jesus Christ to anybody and everybody. You get to help people change their lives. You get to help people in times of need with service or with gratitude. You get to be that example for them. You get to help them find something they may have not been looking for. You get to make people smile, and feel the love of their Savior. And during this time, you get to feel the atonement of Jesus Christ in your life, you get to feel HIS love, and support.
At the end of every single day , as soon as you walk in the door, you get on your knees, and you pray to your father in heaven, and you thank Him for all the miracles you saw that day, and all the things you were able to do and not do. Even if its the hardest day, you show your gratitude, and have the mindset that tomorrow will be better.

I loveeeeeeeee that I get to be a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a represenative of Jesus Christ for 18 months. I love the person I have become , and the person I am becoming. I love helping people feel happiness. I love making people smile everyday. I am grateful for everyone here in California, and I am grateful for all of you back home.

I hope you all have a great week <3

(also Shout out to Carol for getting her mission call to Tahiti, also remember when I literally guessed that?)
